Mina

She whispers words of discouragement in my ear

She’s the darkness that I fear, when I turn out

The light.

She’s everywhere I turn, but nowhere to be seen

She’s the voice lingering in the excess space of

My mind.

She’s the demon that resides behind my eyes

Gazing out into my world, knowing I can’t run

Or hide.
