Forgive me if this doesn’t come out entirely articulate. I’m not much of a reflective-to-the-public type of person but it’s worth the practice right? So on this beautiful winter of the Rolling 20s, I’ve yet to continue my designing streak and finished up logo design for a media channel. Great news, right? However, I’m always onto the next project. The next design. The next thrill. This is how I stay engaged in my work, by never stopping. So far, it has paid off.
My craft and process is just that: a grind. How can I get better if I’m not consistently challenging myself and working on new techniques? As unique as the artist, my creative process during this current time is one of raw obsessions. Just as I am obsessed with development, skill building, and being at the top of my game in the fields I work in as a professional, I continue to take this raw obsession into my art field and brand. An obsession with mastering the current software and techniques of my generation’s age, this is where I draw my strength and motivation.
I’ve been through many trials and tribulations in my short quarter century of life. With my fair share of hardships, I’ve also had my fair share of learning opportunities. To me, this far outweighs any struggle that I’ve been through. As I’ve overcame that, I will overcome the industry as a distinguished artist. This is my story. This is who I am. The Graphic Designer.
